Development of the Religious and Educational Sphere in Uzbekistan: The Experience of the Surkhandarya Region

This article analyzes the development of the religious and educational sphere in Uzbekistan using the case of Surkhandarya region. The study examines state religious policy, spiritual and educational reforms, and the activities of religious educational institutions and their impact on social stability. Special attention is given to regional initiatives, international cooperation, and the promotion of interfaith tolerance. The experience of Surkhandarya is evaluated as an effective model for improving religious and educational policy. The findings provide practical recommendations for further development of this sector.
