The arrival of spring brings with it a variety of seasonal festivals. Among them, the most prominent is undoubtedly Nowruz. Nowruz is one of the most ancient and sacred celebrations in terms of its significance. Its origins and traditions of celebration encompass various peoples and regions, and it has been extensively studied. This day is celebrated across the vast expanses of the Eurasian continent. The article highlights the role of the English historian Mary Boyce in studying the history of Nowruz, based on her research.
