This article analyzes the role of the pedagogical process in developing the qualities of entrepreneurship, tolerance, hard work, innovative thinking and willpower in students in industrial areas from a scientific, theoretical and practical point of view. The role of these qualities in the formation of the personality of students, their impact on social adaptation, sustainable development and quality of life are substantiated. Based on the results of correlation analysis (n=200), the relationship between the use of pedagogical methods and the components of these qualities was determined. A conceptual model for improving the quality of life in industrial areas is proposed.
