Abstract
The article analyzes the educational needs of students with disabilities and ways to meet them, as well as the current state and development prospects of inclusive education in Uzbekistan. The social model of disability, individual educational plans (IEPs), assistive technologies (screen readers, speech-to-text programs), and the importance of teacher qualifications are highlighted using the example of foreign and domestic studies. It was concluded that the main obstacles in Uzbekistan are a lack of infrastructure, social stigma, insufficient teacher training, and financial constraints. Compared to the experience of Finland, Canada, and Australia, the article proposes improving infrastructure, professional development of teachers, introducing assistive technologies, and forming a positive attitude in society as a solution to local problems.
